Standalone threaded player/recorder in a chronological sequence
This is not the case right now: the first video in on the right, and you have to scroll from right to left with the arrow, in order to follow chronologically in a thread.
Also, it would be so convenient that once you have decided to listen to an entire thread, it could play automatically each video in the thread (in chronological order) without having to click on any arrow. It should be an easy accessible option so that if you want to stop listening to a thread before it takes an hour, you could chose to do so.
Also what misses in this player is the ability to actually follow the course of the conversation (who replies to whom) because it is all linear, and not indented like it would be in a threaded conversation on a forum for instance. There should be a way to know whose video has been replied to by someone.
The more people who like this idea, the more it gets noticed.
The company implemented this idea.

Inappropriate? Thanks Otir, about "Also what misses in this player is the ability to actually follow the course of the conversation (who replies to whom) because it is all linear, and not indented like it would be in a threaded conversation on a forum for instance", it's a good point, how would you present it though?

Maybe there should be the possibility to see a tagline under each vignette, that would show something like "re: @Loic" and a date/hour stamp? Hence you would visualize that Otir responded to Loic, when maybe further in the conversation Loic responded to Thomas, and Thomas also responded to Otir, who left a funny off-topic comment to Vinvin who had posted three hours earlier. Don't know if it makes sense. Thanks for checking in Loic! -
Inappropriate?Hey Otir, three answers for you:
1. The threaded player has been fixed to go left to right.
2. There is an autoplay button at the top, so you don't have to click the arrows.
3. Great thoughts about the non-linear view of the conversation, I'll make sure that idea gets to the product team!
I’m excited to share your ideas

Argg, Thomas, from lelft to right is what it has always done, and this is what is wrong! The first video that starts a conversation appears at the right of the bar underneath the player, look at it carefully, then the second video appears at its left, and so on. In the end the "first" video that appears on the left is the LAST video in the time of the conversation, the latest, if you prefer, and the first one is the one at the far right of the line. If the autoplay is on, well, it plays video left then video next to it on its right. Therefore it plays the most recent video first, then the older video back to the first one. This is what I am complaining about!!! Go check for yourself on any player that has more than one video and if you start the autoplay for the first video starting the conversation, you'll see that it does stop after it and never plays anything else, and if you start from the left, it will go backwards (timewise). -
Inappropriate? When you say "the company implemented the idea" do you mean it is going the correct way now? because it is not. As I explained, when you watch a video with multiple responses in the autoplay mode, it won't play from the oldest to the most recent, but the other way round, which does not make sense in a conversation.
Check on any video posted on Loïc's blog for instance, you'll immediately understand that when autoplaying a conversation, you'll hear the reply before the question.
I’m kindof annoyed by it. Not a big deal but still
