Suppress notifications/updates for FriendFeed 'like'..
I use twhirl for twitter and friendfeed. One thing that's annoying about FriendFeed though is that twirl will keep renotifying me for the same news item if someone new 'like's it. It's not unusual for me for some popular post from a friend-of-friend to ding me 5 times as people click 'like'. Given that additional 'like's really add no useful content to me, there really should be a way to suppress updates/notifications for these.
The way twhirl does notifications for existing items that have new comments or likes also seems kinda braindead. The notification of these looks exactly like the original post. It should say something like "new comment(s) for [item]", or some snippet of the comment.
