The Adventures of the Weird Girl and the Infernal Recording Contraption (part 1)

Once I have recorded a video, it won't let me post. (just seeing if there are topics that might help).

So, here's what happens:
1. click record tab at the top
2. recording page comes up, big red button in the center
3. record most awesome videocast evar (it appears to record fine)
4. type in name of video
5. ... post video button is still inactive
6. try recording a little more?
7. ... post video button is still inactive
8. try going to another part of the site? I swear I saw this work in the demo. Srsly.
9. return to record area, but now record is inactive and timeline at bottom of recorder appears to be advanced to the point where I had previously recorded... hmm.
10. ... post video button is still inactive

So, there you have it. I'm on a MacBook with a built-in camera. It's one of those newfangled new MacBooks. I've never tried recording on other sites, but I always use my built in camera to converse with my mom over Skype and stuff.
