Twhirl doesn't save password anymoreand account mess up
On Vista FR SP1, none of my passwords are saved. On launch, account windows appears empty, but account.xml looks fine on save.
When saving passwords (twitter, FF, Jaiku ou pownce) I got an error on the log :
"5/31/2008 13:32:23.939 [ERROR] twhirl TwhirlAccount - storing password for ****** failed, error: general internal error"
When clicking save on option windows, window doesn't close as expected even if I have "5/31/2008 13:32:17.830 [INFO] twhirl AccountsManager - configuration file loaded" Wich seems correct.
On relaunch, all has to be done again.

Inappropriate?I have this problem under Twhirl 0.8.3 and Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.3.
Twhirl has great support for multiple accounts but only remembers / launches a window for one of them, and doesn't remember my password for it. When I click 'Accounts' then I can add the second account again but at the moment I have to do this every time I log in.
So close to being the perfect twitter client!
I’m optimistic but quietly enraged.

Inappropriate?I started having this problem this week, too. I had logged with twhirl on twitter and friendfeed, and now whenever I open twhirl, only the friendfeed window shows up, asking for my remote key. Account username and passwords are not stored, nor can be deleted. Tried rebooting, uninstalling, reinstalling, uninstalling again, cleaning up registry (or tried to... where the heck is twhirl's saved data stored?), nothing seems to work.
I'm on a PC with Vista SP1. Only change done recently was updating the ATI Catalyst video driver from 8.11 to 8.12.
I’m confused, frustrated and sad.

Inappropriate?Same issue here. Passwords aren't remembered and saved accounts don't load. Here are the errors I get from the log.

Inappropriate? There's a solution listed on this page. It involves removing the Twhirl stored passwords folder under /Users/username/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AIR/ELS/
