Twhirl produces too much cpu load
Twhirl has a constent cpu load of 10% or so on my brand new Macbook Pro withlots of gigahertz an lots of ram. Can't find a reason for that as its only querying every minute or so and is being idle meanwhile.

The constant CPU usage is a problem of Adobe AIR on OSX, unfortunately. We have contacted Adobe about this, and they have confirmed that they are aware of it and working on a solution.

It's a problem of Adobe AIR on every platform, Marco. -
That's not my impression. True, AIR is relatively resource hungry when it actually performs anything, esp. UI, but I can't see that it consumes >5% CPU even when idle on Windows, as it does on OSX. It stays well below 1%.
