Why no video from my in-built camera?
I can't change video settings. I had one chance at the beginning and I cant go back. this means I cant look around for a signal from my inbuilt camera on my Macbook pro. I'm very emotional about this! Please notice me. ...Oh...you mean choose a face....

Inappropriate?When you are looking at the recording window, what options do you see for video input?
Here are the options I see for my computer, you should have a similar list:
You should test each of those to see which turns on the green light beside your isight camera. (I believe it will be the USB Video Class Video).

Inappropriate?Many thanks for the prompt reply. I had tried this, but something was blocking the camera (Photobooth I think) and so I wasn't getting a signal. I still think I'm too shy (or English) to broadcast myself!
