Why won't twhirl hide on minimize on Mac?
Why doesn't twhirl "hide when minimized"? In Mac OS X 10.5.2. twhirl screen minimizes to the 'stacks' part of the dock, rather than disappearing completely. Can't we just remove the screen, hide it (like Adium" or just close the screen and reopen from the running Twhirl icon in the dock?

Inappropriate?Hi, thanks for your question.
We are aware of this issue, and are working on a solution. -
Inappropriate? It's still not working and there has been many updates since this problem showed up. I'm thinking that either they don't care, or it's not really a priority. I'd love to keep twhirl open all the time, but since it takes up valuable space I don't.

Inappropriate?still working on the problem 6 months later? any sign of a fix? This is a frustrating bug, and I end up closing the program and only checking for updates every once in a while.
I’m annoyed

Inappropriate? This is the main reason I don't use twhirl on OS X. I would much prefer it act like Twitterific. Where it has a single icon in the menu bar, no icon in the dock, and I can hide the application completely.

Inappropriate? If you could wrap twhirl into the OS chrome instead of the Air chrome that would solve the problem. TweetDeck did this a while ago and it works like a charm (at least on OS X, cannot speak for Windows).
I’m confident
