control over contact form required fields
hi, I would find it useful to be able to set up the contact form so that I can specify the field for entering the phone #, but not have it be required.

Inappropriate? Thanks, Amy! We have it this way to keep the page simple but it'd make sense if we can keep it clean and add it. Are others looking for this?
Either way, it's on our list of potential features. Thanks for the thought!
Cheers!

Inappropriate? This is also an important idea for people in other countries, whose contacts need to enter phone numbers that don't conform to the U.S. format. Here, in Honduras, there are no area codes, and the numbers are just ###-#### for regular phones, but ####-#### for cell phones. That means that, if I require the phone number field in my form, local people cannot enter their phone numbers, since the form has Javascript that won't allow them to proceed if the number doesn't fit the U.S. format. Although I can appreciate "error checking," if you are going to promote this service internationally, you must provide the means for it not to be so U.S.-centric.

Inappropriate?Hi Mario, this is not actually a problem. The product can be used with just US phone numbers or with all phone numbers. You simply check the box for "Country code (if you expect to see non-US based telephone numbers)" on:
https://www.awayfind.com/admin/edit_c...
That will allow people to enter phone numbers in any format for non-US numbers. Sure enough, Honduras is an option :-).
Cheers!

Inappropriate?Excellent! I would suggest rewording the contact-form edit page, though, since the way the option is stated now, it makes it sound as though visitors would have to know AND enter their actual country codes. Since a lot of people don't know much about country codes, I didn't want to discourage them from leaving a message, so I had not marked that option as required. Perhaps something like "Show country selection box" would be better - a little longer and less concise, but clearer as to what will actually happen on the form.
Thanks!
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?Great idea, Mario! I'll look into the phrasing of this for the next release :-).
Cheers!
