files pending upload
229 files pending upload. I am running ver. 1.5.1.44861.20090204. I know the pending upload was a problem in earlier versions but this has started in the past week or so.

Inappropriate?Hello Jerry,
We have seen some issues in this area recently and are investigating the cause. If you don't mind, please select "Help -> Send Log to SugarSync..." from the menu in the SugarSync Manager (SSM), check the box for including audit files and indicate in the message field that these logs are for Sean from your GetSatisfaction post.
Also, can you tell me anything more about the files that are pending? You can see which files they are by selecting "View -> File Transfer Status" from the menu in SSM. For example, are they files that have been modified in the past week or have those files not changed?
Thanks!

Inappropriate? In my case, the number of pending files changes over time. SugarSync does not seem to want to stay connected. It syncs for a while and then stops. Sometimes, quitting and restarting gets it to sync again for a while, but not always.
At first I thought there was a limit to the amount of data downloaded in period of time. I was syncing a new computer and had a lot of data to download. But this does not seem to be the case as it has not caught up over the weekend.
I have Mac version (1.5.4.45637.20090325). -
Inappropriate?Same deal here, my e-mail to sugarsync support:
Hello,
I want to confirm that you’re received the new log and audit files for this ticket.
I’ve done some more troubleshooting and here’s what I’ve found.
I did another complete uninstall/reinstall. After the reinstall SS began syncing some files and then stopped with 24 files pending.
I got the 24 pending files to upload by copying the pending files to a non-SS folder and deleting the files from the SS folder. Once deleted the files dropped of the pending upload list.
After they were off the pending upload list I copied them back into the SS folder and they immediately began uploading.
Now I had all the files out of the pending uploads list and SS said that everything was backed up.
Next I opened an Adobe Illustrator file, (~5mb) and made a change, then saved the change. SS detected the change, but now is stuck “determining changes to small_shapes_10_green_b_mod.eps” and the upload is pending. Also the files is closed, not in use by the application.
If I copy the file to another location, delete it from the SS folder, then copy it back to the SS folder, it uploads fine.
It appears that SS is having difficulty processing changes in files that are opened and saved.
Please help me resolve with this issue quickly as it is severely affecting our workflow. -
Inappropriate?I just tried the suggestion of copying the pending files to a non-Sugarsync folder, deleting the pending files, and then copying the files back over to the Sugarsync folder and it worked for me.
It is a bummer that you have to go through this but at least this works.
Oh, I am on a Mac BTW.
I’m bummed

Inappropriate?Copying files in and out of SS folders will work but dosen't solve the problem. In my case it was an issue on their end and they finally fixed it. I haven't had the problem since then.

Inappropriate?Had similar issue. Was instructed by SS Support to uninstall & reinstall SS. That did clear up the issue. Had to do it 2x (Home & Work). Unfortunate, but not the end of the world.
I’m indifferent
