Not receiving Jabber notifications (Googletalk ID in iChat)
After setting my notification preferences, I added shout@shizzow.com as a contact to my Jabber contacts, but it just shows up as an offline contact with the message, "Waiting for Authorization". I have not received any IM notifications (email notifications worked fine when I tried that). I'm using my Googletalk account in iChat on Mac OS X 10.4.11.

Inappropriate?I switched over to iChat (I normally use Adium), and I am getting shouts from the people I listen to (using iChat)
At this point don't worry about the "Waiting for Authorization" message.
To date, we are using xmpp (jabber) in a non traditional way with the fact that Shout talks to you, but you don't talk to Shout (so Shout doesn't bother to authorize you to do that)
We do in the future plan to allow inbound xmpp (Shout from IM) and at that point you will see the "Waiting for Authorization" go away.
Back to the issue though, Let me know if you still are not receiving shouts through iChat.
