Use for the "/places/" page
How about a categorized (&/or tagged) view of places on the "shizzow.com/places/" page. Perhaps a rank of most occupied Places, filtered by "all", those you're "listening to...". Might give a sense of where you want to be, or where you don't want to be.

Inappropriate?We are currently working on a RESTful API for the system (which would work much as you describe). We plan for end user improvements like this to be backported to the website.
The better we can present information for people to make use of, the better the system for all. Thanks for the suggestion and it's definitely on our roadmap.
