Weird handling of "/@" in a shout?

I entered this shout on m.shizzow.com (from the Gerding Theater in Portland, OR at around 7:15PM 4/30/09):
@bryanstearns/@ginabean at @frost/@nixon
but the shout appears like this:
@bryanstearns/people/ginabean at @frost/people/nixon

Note the apparent translation of "/@" into "/people/" ... This weirdness only happens when I view this shout on Shizzow's web pages (mobile or standard), but *not* when the shout is relayed into my Twitter stream - on Twitter, the shout appears as I intended.
