How do we set up Shopify to not have shipping included in the cart. Our clients will be paying for Shipping separately.

Inappropriate?To do this you'll need to create a shipping rate that is $0 and label it something suitable, such as "Local pickup" or "Free Delivery" or "Shipping paid separately", whatever you feel applies for your shop. Remove all the other rates, and this will be the only rate that customers will see.
