So when can we join?
Why make us take the entire quiz only to find out that we can't join? (At least the music quiz doesn't do this) I tried signing up for the "keep in touch" but it seems to be broken. Am I going to need to retake the quiz after joining?

Susanna,
Currently, we are limiting the amount of information you can import from external sites to 1000 characters. Perhaps the music profile information you have in Facebook is longer than that. You could try one of two things -- (1) Do not import your music information from Facebook or (2) Delete some information from the imported information till it is less than the 1000 character limit that we currently allow.

Inappropriate?Sorry for the probs...
1 - the issue w/the 'keep in touch' button is being corrected as we speak (type?); it should be working by the end of the day.
2 - we have some Qs regarding your main problem of taking a survey and then not being able to register (it's not supposed to work that way!). Could you tell us specifically how you initially accessed the site (i.e. what was the first page you landed on...did you go to the site through a link someone sent you?).
If you prefer, you may answer us directly via our 'feedback' email address on the site. In the interim, you can currently get an invite to the Beta site via the home page of signalpatterns.com.
We look forward to hearing from you. -
Inappropriate?I was not able to find the e-mail address posted on your website anywhere. This included the "about us", "contact us", and help pages. If you wanted me to use the form on the "contact us" page, then that would be ok, but it doesn't say anything about e-mail so it was sort of confusing.
I was able to successfully register, though I have not logged in or taken a test yet. The way I reached the test was through an add on facebook which linked me directly to the first page of the test, but I'm able to get there through the website properly by following these steps.
Go to signalpatterns.com ->
Click the "Be the first on your block" link on the bottom left
This takes you to beta.signalpatterns.com ->
Click the "Personality Patterns" ->
Click "Start the Personality Survey"
I’m interested.

Inappropriate?That should work fine. (There was an issue w/the link on the Facebook ad.)
For future ref, you can reach us directly at feedback <at> signalpatterns<dot>com</dot></at>

Inappropriate?I tried to register on the site and link to my Facebook profile, and it won't let me. It looks like a very cool application, but I'm really frustrated at this point. I get the error message " Validation failed: Music is too long (maximum is 1000 characters)".
I’m Frustrated

Inappropriate?Susanna,
We are aware of this issue. When a user clicks on a Facebook ad and comes to one of our survey introduction pages and from there decides to sign up via Facebook, we are currently not successfully registering these users. We will fix this soon. Currently, we are permitting only anonymous survey taking followed by registration to see results.
In the meanwhile, if you clear any signalpatterns cookies you have in your browser and then send us an email to feedback <at> signalpatterns.com. We'll then send you a personalized link which should allow you to sign up first and then take all the surveys we have on our site.
Thank you</at> -
