Unanswered topics in Six Apart about Movable Type

Hi there,

I do have a problem, I made sth. wrong:
I wanted to point my weblog URL to "blog.domain-name.de" - only! But the root URL on my server is of course /www/blog/. Now after MT installation it is "even worse", I do find my blog at: http://domain-name.de/blog/blog/". And the "About" page e.g. at "http://domain-name.de/blog/about/". It would be ok to have the about page at "domain-name.de/about" or at "about.domain-name.de", but not this way.

I already pointed the /www/blog/ path to "blog.domain-name.de" in my web hosting console of course and this does also work. :) But how do I get away that those ones show up and what do I have to change to get rid of the dispensable "/blog/"?

One other problem: If I click on "New/Page" and "Configuration/Own fields" (I don't know if the translation is correct, I hope you know what I mean), I always end up on a blank page shown to me! :( What did I do wrong or what should I maybe re-upload?

Also I don't really see how to change the /paths/ as it was possible in MT v.3.x. I mean, maybe I'd want to change the path from an existing page? (e.g. "/about/" to "/me/")
