Can guest authors use "Share This Post"?
I've configured the "Share This Post" feature for our blog, but it only shows up when I'm logged in as administrator. It does not show up when our guest authors are composing posts. Is the Share This Post functionality available to guest authors? And if so, how do I get it to show up for them on the Compose screen?

Inappropriate?Hi Rachel - I'm a guest author on quite a few blogs, and it comes up for me - but it takes a little finessing. There's a good Knowledge Base article about sharing posts with Facebook and Twitter here:

but if you've got some specific questions about how to be sure you've got everything set up correctly, just click on the "help" button in the top right hand corner of TypePad, and our support techs are happy to help.
one last thing - are you using the new TypePad? That's where the feature really shines.

Inappropriate?We are making some tweaks for guest authors to make it easier for them to share their posts. Please check TypePad again tomorrow - the changes should be available then. If you still have issues with it, please let us know and we'll work with you to solve them.
