Can I create draft posts offline in the new Typepad (not using a Widget) and publish later when I have an internet connection?
Does the new Typepad allow you to create a draft offline (test and photos) and publish it when you are online? I will be traveling away from internet connections for several days and want to keep up with my blogging. Ideally then I could quickly upload when I get to an internet connection.
I tried this a couple of years ago with the widgets that were available then but had no luck so I am hoping that the improved Typepad has it built it. Thanks.

Inappropriate?Hi Elizabeth, TypePad currently doesn't offer an offline mode. However, there are a couple of ways you can write offline without having to use the widgets that didn't work for you in the past.
1) If you use an email client that supports offline mode, you can compose your posts on email and then submit them when you're online. If you're on the all new TypePad, you can find the email address to send your posts on your blog dashboard (it'll be on the right column, under "Other Ways to Post".) Click here to learn more about posting by email.
2) Another way to compose offline is to use a tool such as Windows Live Writer. -
Inappropriate?Geysa - a couple of years ago (at the same time as I tried the Widgets) I also tried the email posting option but it could not support extensive texts and photos - has that improved? I use Thunderbird - is that an appropriate email client? I presume I would create a draft and then upload when I reach an internet connection?

Posting by email will not carry over all of your font formatting choices, but it does support the addition of photos. Thunderbird is definitely an appropriate email client. Give it a try and let us know if it works for you. If posting by email doesn't meet your needs, we can try and find another solution for you. -
Inappropriate?I tried the email method but it is no different than a couple of years ago - our posts are a combination of text and photos and using the email method means all the photos are jammed in at the end of the post............I tried doing it by attaching the photos and another version by copying and pasting into the email message, but neither worked.
Is there another way to create the email to allow for a combination of text and pictures as a narrative? -
