Following people on the dashboard
I know the addition of the ability to "follow" people on the dashboard is new, but is there going to be the ability to follow people through a link on there blog?
Also, right now, the people under "People you should know" are currently people I don't know and random people Typepad chose, right? I think this would be great if it suggested people based on the posts you write and what your blog is about. Maybe there could even be featured profiles that you should follow just like you feature blogs. What do you think?

Hi Cosmo, thanks for the suggestions, we are certainly working to get the "People you Should Know" module to show suggestions based on each user's interests. Keep an eye out on the Everything TypePad Blog for announcements.

Inappropriate?Hi Cosmo- As more and more people use the Follow feature you will see more opportunities to follow them. Right now you can follow certain TypePad users via comments and blogs. To get started there is the suggested module, but there are plans for future ideas on how to tailor that to the viewer.

Inappropriate?hello Cosmo, i totally agree with you. i guess its appropriate that only those who are related to your niche will appear on "people you should know" by that, you get appropriate backlinks and also, interaction is more exciting and more possible because you have the same interest.

Inappropriate?I saw your lovely addition of the "Dashboard" in the new version of Typepad. I love it, but there is one missing piece that would complete it. A messaging system between Typepad users. Kind of like a mini-Twitter where we can talk to the people we are "following" or friends with via PMB, an inbox of sorts, or a public forum. This would be awesome! Tell me what you think of this.
