Genealogy Typepad Sites? Family Group Sheet Forms?
Brianna Mewborn: The late Amanda Mewborn was the master genealogist for our 1800's Pitt Co., N.C., families. I'm totally new to typepad.com. I could find no "genealogy" per se blogsite catagory; does that fall under a larger catagory? Can "forms" be set-up, such as "Family Group Sheet" data forms, or "family tree" lineage forms? Your good examples typepad sites did not list any genealogy sites. Does typepad have any I could visit as examples?

Inappropriate?Hi Jim: You can add a new category for your posts that says something like "genealogy" if you'd like. There's some more information about working with categories here:

I'm not certain of any good specific genealogy blogs, but I'd be curious if someone else in our community might know of some.
I’m happy

Inappropriate?Hi Jim. I'm a long time Movable Type user/developer and former Six Apart product manager for Movable Type. I also happen to be big into genealogy. I too had difficulty finding any good genealogy blogs and no great examples of creating family trees using blog software. I'm sure that it could be done, but I've simply not done it myself nor seen it done.
Good luck finding some leads and please let us know if you do. I'd be very interested. -
thanks, Jay!
