How do I find out how much space I have used in my allocated storage?
I would like to downgrade my TypePad account from Plus to Basic, however I don't know how much storage space I am using. I am afraid that if I am using over 100 mb, some of my pictures will be deleted when I downgrade. How can I find out for sure? I can't seem to find any information about this elsewhere.

As you might know, we've been hard at work on the next generation of TypePad. We've prioritized all of time and energy on product improvements. This means we've made the "bandwidth and storage reporting" feature bug fix a lower priority.
What does this mean for you? First, your content is safe. We're still doing some backend monitoring on storage to make sure no one is abusing the system. If for some reason your blog was *way* over, we would tell you and give you plenty of time to find another way to store and present your content on your blog. (The only case where that has happened has been a super obvious abuse.) So in the meantime, enjoy this little extra gift while we focus on features you will love.
@Charlotte Reeves: You can downgrade to Basic at any time and we would certainly make sure you blog and content are safe. We want you to be a happy customer.
@Liz Ness: Enjoy a little extra space on us. :) We'll let you know and take on the extra storage while we work on other cool features.
@IslandBookwarm: Sorry we didn't notify you when that change was made. We're spending our time on other enhancements to the product right now that we hope you will enjoy more than the storage reporting. We are also updating everything.typepad.com more frequently with product enhancements and changes. Hopefully that will help notify you of changes.
Thanks for the question. Hope this helps.

Inappropriate?Feel confident that your content is safe on TypePad. We definitely would not delete content without notifying you first. You can always open a Support ticket and someone will contact you directly with more information about your account.

Inappropriate? Thanks for the reassurance. However, how do you find out (seems that if the products specify a limit, the tool should let us know where we are wrt that limit)? I would like to know since I use the back-end to load up and manage downloads/files...
Thanks! -
The account page used to state how much disk space was being used. It disappeared maybe a year back without any notice. -
Inappropriate?Yeah, I noticed that, too. I'm hoping Kimmie (or another great helper person) will be able to point us in the right direction.
