Is Typepad going to allow basic template users to add custom html to the header section?
I really like the new feature that allows users to add custom html to the right and left side bars. Will this feature be expanded to allow these module in header section soon? In particular I would like to add an Adify ad tag above my blogs logo.
If this isn't in the works, can this be customized for my blog?

There are plans to add more options for inserting HTML directly into page elements. I've marked this as an Idea and we'll keep this specific request in mind.
Doing this right now would require the use of Advanced Templates. I wouldn't recommend using Advanced Templates just for this particular template change because you'd lose access to the template builder and the template would need to be coded by hand.
Hope this helps!

Inappropriate?Yes, I agree. this should be a basic feature in Typepad. I know of a lot of Tyepad users wanting this.
