Messaging via Typepad Dashboard

I saw your lovely addition of the "Dashboard" in the new version of Typepad. I love it, but there is one missing piece that would complete it. A messaging system between Typepad users. Kind of like a mini-Twitter where we can talk to the people we are "following" or friends with via PMB, an inbox of sorts, or a public forum. This would be awesome! Tell me what you think of this.
