Option for text/html at top of Typepad category pages
It would be great to be able to include a small amount of text with html at the top of category pages. For example, on my travel blog, I have posts tagged under the category "Morocco". I would like to be able to write a small note to readers at the top of the "Morocco" category page with, for example, the dates I was in the country, and a link to a map of the country. Wouldn't this be useful for readers?
Maybe it's possible with advanced templates, but that's above my head, and it seems like Typepad could create a space to enter text or html in the "typepad.com/site/blogs/.../configure/categories" menu.

Inappropriate? This is a great idea! It is possible with Advanced Templates but it requires some fairly advanced coding and we know users generally prefer the drag-and-drop interface.
We'll look at including a feature like this in the future! -
Inappropriate? If you do switch over to advanced, its not as bad as you might think. I have done this for every column on my site which is a lot! Once you do a couple, its just so simple! I have been thinking about doing a video tutorial on how to do this. Let me know if you take the plunge!
I’m happy

Inappropriate?Noelle, thanks for the comment. If you do a video tutorial, I'd be happy to share it with folks on our Everything TypePad blog.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?Hey, would be my pleasure. I LOVE having my columns/categories this way. It really makes it so clean. I will try this next week. Let me know how to let you know :-)
I’m Happy to it, LOVE typepad!
