Inappropriate?Hi,
Can you provide a screenshot of what you are seeing? Are you not able to get to the widget list? OR do you not seeing the "Embed your own HTML" widget in the list of widgets? -
Inappropriate?widgets is missing altogether from the column.
so i am unable to add anything at all to my blog. -
Inappropriate?Hi,
I'm still not understanding the issue, can you provide more info? Are you using one of the themes that TypePad has provided? If so, you can login to http://www.typepad.com/t/app and check under Blog > Design > Content to choose which widgets to add. -
Inappropriate?Im using Chroma for the theme
i go into design
then categories,
under that i now only have the following - All, about you, links to your archives, links to your blog content, typepad, your photo albums and your typelists.
i no longer have widgets listed, which means i no longer have the "Embed your own HTML" widget in the list of widgets? -
Inappropriate?i have just gone in and changed the theme and its still not there.
-
Inappropriate?Chroma doesn't allow for widgets because of it's styling. I checked a handful of themes under featured and I see the settings. What theme did you switch to from Chroma that did not have the settings?
-
Inappropriate?i used Asterisk
-
Inappropriate?so if i try a different them and add them that way and then go back to using chroma that should work?
-
Inappropriate? No, Chroma does not currently support widgets/embedHTML. Every theme has its own set of 'content' that is supported. When you switch to it, you only get what's available for that theme. If you love the look of Chroma, stay tuned to http://everything.typepad.com as we plan to make updates to it in the comihng weeks. In the meantime, I suggest using another theme. Mosaic is rather nice and you can also upload your own banner to it.
