Has anyone implemented ChatCatcher.com on a typepad blog? Successfully? Tips? #sixapart #chatcatcher

Inappropriate?Hi Alexa!
It looks like the scripted versions of Chat Catcher use PHP, which TypePad can't support. It does look like the scriptless version would work though. Let us know how it works out! -
Inappropriate?I was able to set it up, but I don't seem to be getting any of the pings or comments coming back into the blog.
I’m irked

Inappropriate?Hi Lex! I haven't set up chatcatcher on a test blog or anything. I just noticed that the regular version uses PHP and FTP, which won't work with TypePad. If chatcatcher is going to work with TypePad, it'd need to be the scriptless version.
Maybe another user has set up chatcatcher successfully with a TypePad blog and can lend Lex a hand? -
Inappropriate?Hi, I'm the Chat Catcher developer. The "scriptless" option for Chat Catcher uses pingbacks. If Typepad supports pingbacks, or if it's an option that can be turned on, then you should receive comments from Chat Catcher. I've also recently added trackbacks to the scriptless option. You can always track your comments using the RSS feed if you've already signed up for Chat Catcher. This is an open item on the ChatCatcher.com site if you'd like to provide more feedback there.

Inappropriate?Be good if Typepad had a feature to allow readers to subscribe to an email newsletter automatically without the need for an external widget or external program like Feedburner.
