Why can't I get to my blog's "settings" on my iPhone?
I need to access my TypePad "settings" page on my iPhone, but no matter how I try to log in to my TypePad account, I end up with the mobile version which doesn't have full functionality. You guys really need to allow iPhone (and other cell phone) users regular access to TypePad via a web browser.
My blog gets attacked by trolls now and then, and I need to turn on comment moderation. But often I don't have access to a computer, and I can't do this on my iPhone. I note that another person had a similar problem and you basically responded "mobile version is all you're get on the iPhone." See:

I don't understand why it isn't possible for me to log into TypePad with my iPhone's Safari web browser and get full access to my blog's control panel/settings. I realize your site will look kind of weird on a small screen, but I can deal with that by scrolling and such, just as i do on other web sites. It's frustrating to not be able to turn on comment moderation while a string of troll comments are being posted on my blog.

Inappropriate?Hi Brian,
We developed the mobile web app interface to accomplish common tasks on your iPhone (like composing simple posts, managing comments, checking stats, and viewing the activity of people you follow on TypePad).
While it would be possible to do many of these things using the full interface on your phone, the mobile version is designed so that the interface is optimized for touch and easy to use without excessive zooming and scrolling.
This requires a bit of trade-off in terms of functionality (and you're correct that the features you mentioned aren't currently available for the mobile web app), but we're always making improvements and feedback like this helps us prioritize new features.
So thank you for your question and please let us know if there's anything else you'd like to see in the mobile version.

Kimmie, thanks for the reply. I don't know how many other people would like to have the ability to turn comment moderation on or off via a cell phone, but I sure would. Your mobile version indeed is clean and simple. It works well for what it does.
I just was hoping there was a way to click on a button that said "log in to regular TypePad" and allowed users like me who wanted to do some zooming and scrolling on an iPhone or whatever to have the full Control Panel functionality. -

Kimmie, I just noticed that the USA Today mobile app for the iPhone has the feature that I'm asking for. At the bottom of the mobile app USA Today news page is a link that says "Click here for full website."
I click there and, voila, I'm at the full USA Today website, able to scroll and zoom around to get whatever content I want. Seems like TypePad should be able to do the same thing, for those of us who want access to the full functionality of our blog's control panel while on a mobile phone.
