When creating a trip, the user should be able to set the "where" field based on a map
I'm not really clear on what a trip is, but if I go for a run outside, when I'm on a trip to San Diego, I should be able to indicate this on a map.
The user interface for setting the "where" field was really complicated, and I could never get my destination in....

Thanks for the feedback. We really want to streamline the trip creation process and we will be adding the option to pinpoint your location on a map.
I'll let you know when it's out.
For now, feel free to do a location search: San Diego
You can then add specific activities in that area, such as a running path.
