Inappropriate?are you saying that if you enter " in a suggestion it doesn't show up? or that if you enter the HTML entity for " it doesnt show up? If the latter, that is correct, we don't want it parsing user-generated HTML for security reasons. ?

*I assume. Someone could be trying to be smart and put in the & code, but judging by the blog I saw the suggestion of, I don't think they would try anything beyond hitting the " key.
