I'm customizing my widget and nothing changes - I save customizations. I'm using latest Firefox 2 or Windows XP. My login is fichter. Is this broke?

After looking at this some more, I do see another reason why blogs will not see the recent customizations immediately. We originally had that stylesheets set to expire in 7 days, which will cause the old style to show after customization. And because of the way we're loading the widget, the new customizations might not show even with a Shift+Reload. A explicit clearing of the cache should fix the problem however.
Because of the possible effect on widget loading performance, I'm reluctant to turn off the expiration date. Instead, what I've done is lower the expiration to 30 minutes.

I just fixed this. The problem is that we're telling the browser to cache too much.
Unfortunately, to see this fix you'll have to force your browser to hit the server so it'll clear out the old files. You can do this by holding down the Shift key while doing a reload. If that doesn't work, you'll have to clear your Cache/Temporary Internet Files.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?Hey - we are aware of this problem and it is something on our end. We hope to push out a fix, along with the ability to change the widget title text, soon.

Hey John,
I'm looking at your blog and it looks like the widget is taking in your customized style. Perhaps your local browser cache is at play? -
Inappropriate?Hey Calvin
I have held the shift while reloading (Firefox 3) and I have cleared the local cache - done these multiple times. Nothing. It should have a blue background like my site with a Georgia font.
Ideas? -
John,
It looks like this to me:

Is this what you're expecting? I checked your customization options, and it looks like that was was configured. -
Inappropriate?Yep, looks perfect. Just not in my browser. In Safari, all looks as customized. I cannot get Firefox to recognize it. Oh well, as long as the outside world can see it.
Thanks for your help. This is a nice product. Paul has been more informative and helpful than I've seen in a long time.

Inappropriate? My customization is not working either. I am on Blogger, and my blog is:

Would you mind taking a look? Thank you.

Since the blog is still under construction, I just sent an invitation to csyu77@gmail.com. Thank you for your help. -
I got the invitation, thanks. I'm seeing the customization changes on my browser - I believe that this might be some kind of caching issue. Let me look into it some more. -
Hi Calvin,
This is very weird. This morning, when I was at home, I was able to see the customization on my FireFox 3.0 browser on Windows XP. When I got to work and checked out my blog, the customization is no longer visible. My browser at work is Firefox 2.0 and my OS is Suse Linux 10.2. Thank you. -
