Skribit is Ugly.
Ok, I finally came around to the idea of skribit as I am re-designing my site/blog. I went to add the widget to my sidebar and realized that Skribit is ugly, and I cannot get the iframe-based widget to look decent on my site.
I then searched the skribit site for documentation or APIs in which I could style the widget better, and I landed here..
So I would assume, I need to do some hackery or perhaps magic to make this thing decent enough to use it... So I guess I will start by posting here and maybe their is an un-documented option.
I have a dark site, with a background image. I tried to make alot of the borders and colors transparent(which it does not allow), and did my best with the other options. The best I could come up with is a black box, with a centered header, bright yellow buttons, and a huge white logo hanging off the bottom.
Any suggestions?

To add on to this: The CSS customization page, it is now live and a link to it can be found on the widget customization page, under "advanced" on the right.

Hi JoMilla,
I modified your account to use the v2 version of the widget, take a look at that and see if fits your needs (it's mostly iframe free).
You can use your own CSS to style it the way you want if our customizer doesn't have the options you need. There's a sample CSS file here.

Inappropriate?Much better, I was able to come up with a much more customized widget in a few minutes.. I would suggest posting the output html of the widget to help with the styling.

Inappropriate?Great looking widget JoMilla! As for "would suggest posting the output html of the widget to help with the styling", that's on my to-do list before we finally push v2 of the widget to everyone.

Inappropriate?I'm sure it will look a little better when I launch my re-design/re-align. But This version of the widget is much better..
Good to hear about the source code, should help, I kinda had to take the example stylesheet and look at the hierarchy of some of the tags to find the selectors I wanted.. (if that makes sense)
Glad to see skribit growing, keep it up!
