When will WordPress.com users be able to embed the widget onto our blogs?
I am itching for the widget to be made available to Wordpress.com users.

Unfortunately WordPress.com makes it difficult to embed our widget, or widgets in general, due to the number of restrictions they place, such as not being able to embed javascript.

Until something happens on the WP.com end or we begin offering a "lite" version of the widget, you will not be able to use Skribit's current widget on a WP.com-hosted blog.

Inappropriate?That's really sad, Paul. Oh, well. I guess us WordPress users will just have to wait it out. Or, rampage and start some sort of online petition. XD -
Inappropriate?I took a look at the WP.com forums, and it looks like if we create a widget and submit it to the WP support staff, there's a chance they'll add it. I've put it on our to-do list.
In our next big release, we're going to offer RSS feeds, so you'll be able to use the RSS widget. We'll be sure to post directions on how to do so on our blog (I'm planning on moving my blog to WP once that release goes out, so I have to figure it out anyway). -
