How do I remove an access point?
So I'm a bit concerned about my privacy. I have read your privacy policy, and I understand your company is collecting this information with good intentions, but I think I'd still like to remove my access point from your database. I run a private access point so it's pointless for others to locate me with my information anyways. How do I go about removing my information?

Inappropriate?If someone stands nearby your house and wants to know the current location then your access point would help.
I fail to see any privacy concerns. I just added my own private access point.
(Not that it's a valid question, of course. E.g. if selling the device, thereby moving it to an unknown location)

Inappropriate?I don't think that there is a "method" to remove an access point, however, I'm sure that you could accomplish this by e-mailing Skyhook with your concern.
Though, as Hugin777 points out, I'm not quite sure why you would be concerned over this matter, as having your AP registered with Skyhook is no less secure then having it broadcast it's SSID in the first place.

Inappropriate?You said that you were concerned about people locating you. Our database only records you wireless signal and tags it to a GPS location. When people locate using our service they just send a snapshot of those signals and we tell them what GPS location they are at. As far as anything about you personally, or your network we have no information on that. Just the Wi-Fi signal.
However if you would still like to have you AP removed please send me the routers MAC address and I will see what I can do.
