Has anyone been able to use the Jawbone 2 with Skype for Mac? Or know why I can't?
I am running the latest version of Skype (2.7.0.330) and Mac OS 10.5.6, the Jawbone 2, and a 2 month old MacBook Pro.
I am experiencing an issue where the Jawbone headset randomly cuts out or produces static for folks on the other end or the line.
The Jawbone seems to work fine with my mobile phone.
Any definitive answer on what the problem is? I am suspecting an issue between the implementation of Bluetooth on my Mac and the headset.

Inappropriate? That sounds frustrating – does the problem happen just with Skype, or with other apps too?
-
Inappropriate?I think this is also happening with other apps, but I am not sure. iChat doesn't have a "Test call" feature so I can test this very well.
Also, an update to this. I think I am actually using the original Jawbone, not the Jawbone II. -
Inappropriate? Thanks for the update – we’re hoping to do some more Bluetooth device testing soon in order to figure out whether this is a hardware or software problem.

Inappropriate?Great. I'd be interested in the results of your testing, so please do post to GetSatisfaction. I'd still like to use Skype with a bluetooth headset.
I’m interested
