Is it possible to know if someone has deleted you from his/her list?

When you block a user he will see your status as "Offline" or "Offline with Call forwarding" or "?" (User details not shared). All the messages the user tries to send you will not be delivered.
There are no definite indications or notices that you will get, to know for sure, if you were blocked or not by the other user, but if the person hasn’t been online for some time and previously he was online on a daily basis it might be because he blocked you. I tried to explain it as simply as I could but let me know if you need to know more etc.

I made a few experiments asking my skype contacts delete me. Most of the time when they delete me I see their icon offline with the "?" sign. But it was just a few times when I continued see them online after they deleted me, but I won't be able to see their photo.
After they added me again, I was able to see their photo again. -

Inappropriate?But, Dmitri,... the question is about "being deleted".... not "being blocked".... I have exactly the same question as Stanze asked.... "Is it possible to know if someone has DELETED you from his/her list?"
So, could we get the answer for this question.... not about being "blocked"? -

Are you sure? I think that when someone deletes you and doesn't block you, you can see his/her status.

I am confused as to "x" versus "?". If someone DELETES me only, wouldn't I see an "x" rather than "?" And also, I have read somewhere that if you are deleted, you should not be able to see their number of contacts. Is that true? Then please explain the following combination: "x", number of contacts is visible, but "This person has not shared their contact details with you" appears when scrolling over the "x".

Inappropriate?I have a similar situation. I was wondering if anyone could help.
A friend and I had a massive falling out and I believe he blocked me, or deleted me (or possibly both, but I don't know for sure).
I can still see the number of contacts he has but not his picture.
However, when I go to add him as another user, not only can't I see his picture, but I can't see the number of contacts he has.
Would this indicate that he has blocked me and just hasn't bothered to delete me?

random.obscurity: I wrote this earlier but I write again: If the contact was never simultaneously online with you for the past 21 days has not logged into the system from his/her PC. Both his profile and avatar information are deleted in such a scenario. They will reappear should the contact sign in again into the system and you happen to be online at the same time. Check how many days you have not been simultaneously in contact with your friend.

Inappropriate?I haven't been simultaneously online with a friend of mine for more than 21 days (most of the time at least one of us or both being actually 'invisible') as well as with some other friends. Still, only one of my contacts appears with a '?' now. I can see the profile (phone numers, number of contacts) but I also see a message 'this person has not shared his/her contact details with you'. If a contact appears with a "?", I'd say he/she has deleted you. Are you sure you can still see the number of contacts he/she has?

Yes, I can see the number of contacts (which remains the same as before) and I can see the phone numbers which do not appear if the person has not shared his/her contact details with me (checked this out with another skype name). Am I then deleted but not blocked? OR am I blocked but not deleted? Why can't we just get a message when someone deletes us or blocks us? This is sooooo stupid...

Inappropriate?I have a question, I recently added a friend and before I could see her picture as well as her personal message and the city she lives in...a few days ago I've been unable to see her picture but I can still see the city she lives in as well as her personal message...does this mean that she blocked me?? Her status is usually set to offline, but that didnot stop me from seeing her picture...

Send her a message. If she blocked you, you'll get a message saying that you cannot send her a message due to her private settings.

A contact of mine has something going on where he blocks me from seeing his details and if his status on and offline, it even says so that he's not sharing contactdetails with me, but my messages do come through to him and he can actually chat with me.
A while ago he actually did have me on block and sent messages went : "message not delivered yet" but now they show up as delivered again. So i guess when you're really blocked you see the message not delivered with the circling arrow?1 Comment Add a comment

(messages older than 30 days) because i can still the history conversation between me and my friend, but i beleive that he blocked me because i can't see his picture anymore...it's been over a week and my last msg still have a circle next to it...(when i sent it, that person was already offline)..but he didnt get it yet..so is it because im blocked, deleted or he really didnt go on for the past week ? i really need ur help...thank u!

Inappropriate?Delete the contact you think deleted you, and then add them again. if a window pops up telling you they would ask the person whether or not to allow you to see them online, that means they deleted you.
If the window does not pop up and they're automatically added to your list, then this means you are still on theirs.
