Monthly fees yes/no?
What do you mean that there is "generally" no monthly fee? What if I have no users for the month?
Also, what is the range of the signal of a single router - Can my neighbour and myself share a hotspot?

Hi Neil,
In some cases we provide additional extras for the venue owner which incur a monthly fee (e.g. free voucher facility, bandwidth etc)
Typically, the range of a single router is 20 - 50 m, depending on the setup & environment. In the vast majority of cases, you'd easily be able to share with a neighbour, provided there aren't thick walls between your neighbour and yourself.
The Skyrove router is weatherproof, so you can even mount it outdoors to ensure better signal all-round.

Inappropriate? Can you increase the range of the skyrove router?

Inappropriate?Hi Ian - to answer your question and assume Niel would agree - to extend a wireless signal you can install a Omnidirectional or directional aerial mounted on a pole outside. And since the Skyrove Pico station has a output of 1Watt, your signal may tralvel very far in open spaces ;) Simply remove the supplied aerial and connect a extended COAX cable (up to 10meters) to the desired location for optimal coverage.

Inappropriate?Quick note: The Skyrove Picostation2 runs at a 100 mW.
There is a 1000 mW version, but we do not provide it as it most likely will not comply with EIRP limits.
