Introducing reblogr.com

To facilitate LifeCast and LifeCast Pro we have devised a server side technology called reblogr.com. Written in Ruby and with an exposed restful API, reblogr.com facilitates client blogging applications by offering a service list to the client and relaying data between the client and the target API.

The upshot of this is the client application need only talk to reblogr.com rather than having to talk directly to each and every API it offers services for.

A great benefit of using this client/server blogging technology is that development speed will increase as most of the really difficult stuff will now be done server side rather than client side; although this technology wont negate the need for client updates it will minimise them.
