LifeCast needs a User's Manual
Would y'all post a user's manual to the LifeCast app? Are we supposed to go to LifeCast.Com and create an account before it will work? Or is the app supposed to work just as well if you have a Blogger acccount?

First, after you download any new App to your iPhone, turn it completely off then reboot it. (Hold down the Sleep button for 5 seconds.) That improves your luck dramatically.
Then, get into the LifeCast App, and create (+) a LifeCast strictly for text posts to your Blogger account. It only works for us if we post text to this account, pictures don't get there.
Then create (hit the + button) another LifeCast for your Picasa account. It only works for us if we send a picture to this one, when we create a text-only entry, it hides the "post" icon on the bottom right bar. If you only see two icons (the trash can and the GPS cross-hairs) then you can't send that type of post to that account.
Other folks can post comments about the other types of accounts.
It is very easy to use the app once you know the limitations of the various types of accounts. (For example, you can't post video to Picasa, nor 'blog entries to You-Tube, even if you had a supercomputer.)

After that reboot (and waiting a while for servers to get happy with each other) now we posted a photo from an iPhone to the LifeCast linked to our Blogger account, and LifeCast automatically posted it to our Picasaweb site, and posted it to our Blogger site as well. The next experiment might be to delete the second LifeCast linked directly to Picasaweb and see if the Blogger one continues to work alone. (Or maybe we should quit while we are ahead.)
Moral of the story: It it doesn't work at first, keep posting a few times and see if it fixes itself.

Inappropriate?My top tip is this: please make sure you're running the very latest version of LifeCast, as we're continually improving it and - yes - fixing bugs too ! Your iPhone should prompt you with a little icon on the App Store icon where there are new application updates available - but I've found it's not always accurate, so it's worth opening AppStore from time to time and tapping the 'updates' tab at the bottom right. If LifeCast appears in the list, just tap 'update' to install the latest version.
You should certainly be able to post photos and text to Blogger without having to set up a Picasaweb blog too.
We did have some introductory tutorial pages on our website, but they seem to have gone by the wayside. I'll dig around and see if I can't get them loaded back up. They give new users a 'what's what' guide to the application.
