Photos posted on Blogger are oversized
I have tested posting a photo to my blogger blog and it seems that the picture is causing my blog to crash. I can open my blog but then I see only part of the picture that I have posted. So the picture is huge, and only part of it is showing. It takes forever for the blog to load, and then when I try to reload, the blog has crashed.

Inappropriate? The blog is now also loading very slow.
Is it not possible to put a smaller version of the image from Picasa on the Blogger site? And then click through to Picasa for details? Just an idea. -
Inappropriate?Hi
This is a known issue to do with the blogger template and we address it with our next release, with, to be honest only partial success. When you post with version 1.2 the image that appears on your blog will be a thumbnail image, like your "Test posting via email" post on your blog. And when you click on the thumbnail it should pass through to Picasaweb as described. Unfortunately the click through functionality is currently not working for a reason we cant fathom. But bear with us we will address it as quickly as we can.
Your complete image has still been uploaded to blogger by the way - you can see it by right-clicking on it in your browser and opening it in a new window.
Also the current size of your image is 800x600 which to be honest is relatively tiny in web terms. With 1.2 you will be able to choose 1 of 3 different sizes of image so if you decide that 800x600 is too big then you wont be stuck with that size.
Regards
Damien
I’m thinking this is only half fixing the problem
