Where did photos for Blogger go?
Did you remove post photo functionality for Blogger from the latest version of Lifecast? And do you plan to add it back? I really want photos in text!

No you should be able to post photos to blogger.
What do you see when you try to post photos to blogger? error messages? do you get the post successful tick or not etc.?
Do your photos appear in your picasaweb account but not in your blogger page?

Inappropriate?Ok, I've discovered that I can post photos to Blogger -- just not as part of a text entry. But wasn't there briefly a functionality development recently where I could post a photo with or into the text of an entry? I could have sworn that this was implemented, but my latest version won't do this. Regardless of whether I dreamed this or it was real, will this be implemented for Blogger in future verions

No - you dreamt it! Are we in any more of your dreams? ;-)
The ability to mix text and images is on our list of definite functionality. When and how it is released is more flexible; it may be a feature of LifeCast Pro or we may implement a simple version for the free version too; as yet we don't quite know. However that said it's not the functionality that is difficult to implement (we could do it now) rather it is the user-experience which is 'difficult', i.e. retaining the simplicity of LifeCast at all costs is our motto.
So the simple answer is 'Yes' we will implement it - yes it will be for blogger and tumblr and any other blog we support but it may only be found in the pro version.....

Inappropriate?It's not quite as easy to add this feature as Damien makes out. LifeCast was conceived as a micro-blogging and event capture/timeline tool. The idea is that you captured individual thoughts or experiences as discrete events.
Mixing two different types of evens (photos and text for instance) actually requires some fairly fundamental revisions to the basic concepts that LifeCast assumes. That's not to say it's impossible - just that it's going to be tricky to do this right.
So, yeah, we're going to add this feature - but it probably wont appear for a while.
