Hi friends,
I wanted to let you all know why SlideShare has been offline for 3-4 hours multiple times in the past week. This story in TechCrunch will tell you more about what is happening. Please bear with us while we face these attacks.
If we go offline, please check our blog or this thread to find out whats happening.
Thank you for using SlideShare,

Clarification on SlideShare's Terms of Use Last reply on April 25, 2008 06:30.
I have read about SlideShare from a book, visited the site and I'm interested in signing up as a member.
I've read the Terms of Use and there's something that I'm not too sure about and wish to clarify:
1. May I ask if there's a limit to the number of links a particular slide or the whole slideshow in a slideshare slide can have?
2. Is it possible that, from a slideshare slide, we have links that whenever people clicks on, will direct them to a particular product site where they can purchase a particular product (where if he/she purchases the product, we'll be paid commissions)?
Appreciate your clarification on this. Thanks! -

I'm delighted to visit SlideShare today and NOT see lots of decks featuring naked ladies. Last reply on September 06, 2007 21:38.
I'm working diligently at my company to get the innovation leaders interested in some kind of enterprise version of SlideShare. Some days (like today) the featured decks are intellectually exciting. Other days... well maybe exciting in a different way. -
