Audio for Slidecast won't play in edit pane

I've uploaded a ppt file and linked it to an mp2 file hoste on Typepad (here: http://blog.spoonflower.com/files/spo... ). But in the edit pane of my Slidecast where I planned to sync the audio file to the slideshow, every time I hit the Play button the audio stream reverts to "paused." I can't play any of it even though when I hit the link to the hosted mp3 file it plays with no problem. Why?

Oops error

I am trying to upload an audio mp3 file to my slides. I keep getting an "oops" message telling me that my file isn't accessible from your servers. The message says that this may be because I have entered the wrong URL or because my file hosting server is not responding.

Well... I am copying and pasting the URL and the site is a school site that everyone else in my class has been able to use to host their mp3 and upload them to slides share, so what is going on? I have been having this problem for a few weeks and I need to get this problem resolved asap for my deadlines. Thanks for the help.

Slidecast is taking 9 hours to sync...

Latency has become a big problem of late...I have two slidecasts I am trying to process.
I provided a link to an mp3 file to associate with my slides. The page has told me that the url is being processed. It has taken over nine hours so far to process the file. The site has been crawling and it takes as much as 10 minutes to go from page to page at times.

My Secret link is: http://www.slideshare.net/secret/3RTF...

There is no way to abort this process or to try a new file. As far as I can tell, I'm going to have to abandon all of the work I've done on this slide (adding comments to each slide containing presenter notes) and start over.

Can anyone help fix this issue? Also, I am concern with the sudden slowdown of the site overall..I have about 70 hours invest so far in my presentation (about 340 slides) Could it be that the size of my preso and audio file (about 20MB each is just to much for slideshare? My concern is that I need to go live with this in 3 days and if it is choppy then I won't be able to use your service. As an aside, I would happily pay a (reasonable) monthly fee to assure better connectivity. Have you looked into Akami or similar networks?

Please let me know if you can help!

Audio not rendering

For some reason the audio that we have uploaded is not being accepted in the syncing process to create a slidecast for our presentation “Start your spiritual journey”.

The URL for the audio is http://www.spiritualresearchfoundatio...

Can you please advise what could be the matter. All the parameters of the audio are the same as the previous audio uploads that we have done.

Synchronization Tool Blank

Slideshare has been working perfectly... until now. For some reason when I try to create a slidecast, the Synchronization Tool loads a blank box? I point it to the mp3 I want to link up with, it seems to load fine, then loads the Synchronization Tool, but nothing is in the box! Any suggestions?
(I get the same result in FireFox (WinXP and OSX), Safari, and IE.) Oh, the slideshare plays fine -- I'd just really like to use the Synchronization Tool.

Hi. I have a pps which contains animation and music imbegded in the presentation. The slide show was also set to advance the slides automatically. After uploading the file, it was convered into a plain PowerPoint which had to be advanced manually, and the music was missing. Can someone tell me what I did wrong, or is it not possible to upload a file with animation and sound? Thanks!

I want a little call out box for my audio files!

I'd love to have a prominent place to show off links to my audio files! A simple form to add links, and a nice prominent display location near the slide show. The next step is start pulling the audio into SlideShare, and then allowing syncing! But one thing at a time. ;)
