IE 6 unable to view my slideshows Last reply on May 09, 2008 19:35.
I am having an issue with my slideshows and IE 6. I am able to see other slideshows, and slidecasts, but if I try to view or edit (slidecast sync) my own slideshows, I am unable to see them. if I use firefox 3, I can see them. strangely, I can view other users content on the site, and even more strangely, if I embed my slideshow (or slidecast) in another site (I placed mine within a survey at http://surveymonkey.com) I can see it.
I upgraded to the latest flash 9, and I'm thrown by this- I can't figure out why it won't work, but really need a solution so that I can use slideshare in my organization- we are standardized on IE 6.
any suggestions? -

Can I prevent others from embedding my slides on their blogs? There's something like that in Youtube. You can still keep your videos public so others can view, but they can't embed. Thanks. -

Is there any way to retain embedded fonts in a converted powerpoint presentation?
I found that slideshare did a great job of importing my presentation except that the embedded font I used was lost.
Is there any way to embed fonts in the converted presentation? -

As you website says, '6 slideshare employees are listening and participating', then how come my question, asked many days ago remained unanswered. Question again, when we embed the slides in our website, are the slides suppose to play on our site, or does the link takes us to slideshare.net site? thanks Last reply on November 30, 2007 19:57.
youtube plays embedded videos on personal websites, so I was in the impression that your site does the same. I am using firefox browser.
