I'm preparing a presentation about Web 2.0 and repositories and wanted to use a screen shot of SlideShare as an illustration of the type of interface we should be aspiring to. I just wanted to be 100% that this was OK.
I have successfully embedded my slideshare into my blog. Now, however, i get the message that the presentation has either been removed or made private by the author. Which I haven't. How can I fix this?
Is it possible to change your SlideShare username? I know email and password can be updated, but do not see an option for username change, if it were desired.
just wanted to say that i love your product, i'm an it manager find it a great way to share training materials with my users. Can't wait to see how it develops into the future.
Why is there no "add comments" on my new slideshow? The option to add comments appears on my other shows and also the transcript. This one has neither.

When I am not logged in to Slideshare or others are not, the email to share a slideshow with a friend appears to be processed but never goes though to the recipient. If I am logged in the email reaches it's destination just fine. Why won't it go through when shared by a guest, even if they fill out the form correctly, including special characters, etc. This may not be a problem when sharing from within the player itself. But it never works when using the Share link on the webpage even though it looks like everything works and a confirmation message is provided.
I recently made a slidecast. When I play it on Slideshare it works fine. When I try and play it (and other slidecasts) embedded on a wiki, it will not play the audio. Any ideas? Am I doing something wrong or will this eventually fix itself?
My embedded slideshows are not working firefox but working in IE7. What is the problem? I copy pasted the code from your website. How do I make this work? Please help.
I uploaded my presentation a day ago. I can see it when I log in to my account and go to My Slidespace. When I try to search on the title or the tags, I always get no results. Why can't search and find my own slideshare presentation?
Uploaded slideshow and a thumbnail is visible, but when I click on the thumbnail the circular animation indicating that it's loading goes on for an extended time. I can download it, but not view it. It's set as private, but I'm logged into my account and also have a secret url.
I have read about SlideShare from a book, visited the site and I'm interested in signing up as a member.
I've read the Terms of Use and there's something that I'm not too sure about and wish to clarify:
1. May I ask if there's a limit to the number of links a particular slide or the whole slideshow in a slideshare slide can have?
2. Is it possible that, from a slideshare slide, we have links that whenever people clicks on, will direct them to a particular product site where they can purchase a particular product (where if he/she purchases the product, we'll be paid commissions)?
Can't upload a PPT (24MB) - it just hangs in the Upload "Sending Request". I had this uploaded and mashed up with Audio. Then I wanted to fix the PPT. For 2 days, I've tried uploading to no success.
i would like to use the slideshare api to upload a ppt file on demand.. but i keep getting the following error message:
