Someone else uploaded my slides, how can I avoid duplication? Can you transfer a slide to another account?

Hi! I discovered several sides I gave on different places uploaded by other people. Now I have my own account and I'd like to upload all my slides, so this would create a duplicate presentation. Can I ask the other person to transfer the slide to my account somehow? If I re-upload a presentation and he deletes the other version, all embeded and links to it will break
