Can't comment on slides
I am adding comments to slide shows, but can only seem to add comments to slide 1. How do I advance to add comments to slide 2 or slide 3?

Amit, thank you so much for the speedy response. The fix is great. -
Has the problem come back? -
Inappropriate?Seems to be working fine for me. Can you let me know what's happening? Can you try clearing your browser cache first?
-
Cleared browser cache and still happening.
Error console reports "n has no properties" line 83 (IE just says object in null line 83)
What browser do you guys use? -
Inappropriate?I'm testing in FF3, IE8beta2, Chrome and FF2 at the moment. Other folks in the office check on Safari, IE6 and IE7 and Opera 9.
I see the same error you see when debugging but it's not something that has an effect on comments.
How are you navigate to slides to comment? By typing in /slideno in the URL or clicking the previous and next buttons in the player?
(Also can you link me to the presentation you are trying to comment on? Just in case it's an individual issue) -
FF2 and IE7 have the same problem here.

Clicking previous and next, leaving URL as is.
The label above the comment box is saying "Add a comment on Slide 2" - when I hit "Post Comment" I get the dots momentarily, then rather than the comment being displayed - i get presented back with the edit box, -
AH, also I dumped the ppresentation and reloaded when I first found I could only comment on the 1st slide, so this is the 2nd incarnation - don;t know if that helps..... -
Ok, so I tried /2 ... /14 on the url, but no comments area comes up - only chance to add comments is on /1 - same for FF and IE
Uploaded again under a different filename - still same problem. -
Inappropriate?I have found a workaround for this, see http://www.slideshare.net/gamercize/e...
It's all working now.
What I did was upload a presentation that had the same number of slides, but each slide just had "Slide 1... "etc up to "Slide 14".
Transcript and comments on each slide worked with that so I just uploaded the real presentation as an edit.
I’m happy
