collaborative slideshare
I wish to record what slideshare has made possible. I had uploaded a slideshow recently on India's Cricket Test win at Perth. Then I was in a conversation with another slideshare user - lugos. On my request she added a bit of sound a 89 seconds applause from a Hungarian music concert and converted the slideshow to a slidecast - a first for both of us.
We are now planning another collaborative slideshow. Keep watching this space for the announcement!

The wonderful aspect of this is my fellow collaborator lugos has done an inspirational job responding to my request. My satisfaction comes from introducing a little bit of cricket to Hungary and getting appreciation for the game. And the congratulations for the victory (at Perth) from an outstanding Slideshare user - Spiderweb99 - who is from another cricket-unfamiliar country - Canada. It has all been made possible by Slideshare. So thank you guys!

Inappropriate?This is promise-delivered-announcement. A slideshow put together by four people - 2 from India + 1 from Hunagary + i from the US.
The Indians have never met the other two except in slideshare. The other two also have never met except in slideshare.
We worked in our free time over a month and uploaded this slideshow, nay, slidecast! You can watch this here: http://www.slideshare.net/lugos/words...
We also used the private view feature made available a few month sback and seriously questioned by me at that time! LOL!

Inappropriate?Thanks Rashmi. Looks like an offer I cannot refuse! But i am no good in writing cogently as would a blog require. Will check with Pamela and Lugos and see if either of them volunteer!

PS: Doing well. Very busy. Working all day on a Saturday. But SlideShare is a lot of fun. Cannot complain!

Inappropriate?It took us two days but we have scripted the story ourselves. I have sent it to you last night (India time!)
We were just testing it out -sort of proof of concept. Hope to bring out something better next time.
I also sea other collaborative teams emerging: spider-doina, vili-helga.
