Email notification bug is making me... buggy.
Still having problems with getting notification emails after I've said I don't want any... I still get the " the following topic in the 'x' group on SlideShare has been posted' or 'so and so has uploaded a post to x group'.
I hate to complain since I do love the site and its UI, but pleeeease make it stop. I've set my email notifications to none in my profile, but Sunday I got three notifications. Help.

Ok, we know why this is happening. You are getting notifications for the groups. Group level notifications can be turned off on the group's page (when you are logged in) and not from the account profile page. Please go to the particular group page and there will be option for turning emails off. You will have to do this individually for groups/events.
We plan to move this to the account profile page soon.. stay tuned

Inappropriate?Thanks for the reply. Glad you can fix this - if you belong to many groups (like I do, with 12) I'm sure you can see how it gets annoying after a while. It's nice if notifications ideally are always updated system wide within a UI, and not within an individual content area (like a group) :)
