Embed not refreshing after new presentation upload - CDN problem?

As a web developer for a large site I can understand the frustration with cacheing. Can someone from Slideshare give me an idea of how long the cace takes to refresh? I'm in the same boat as Karen but would like to give an answer to my superiors to ease their nerves.

I'm having the same issue. The presentation updates instantly, but the embed is showing a much older version.

Here is what I have learned. I logged into my presentation from a different PC and the Slideshare page also shows the older version. Then I noticed that 8 out of 51 slides were showing the newer version (I changed the background)

The problem has to be on slideshre's side I have 5 PC's and I have tried going to a new PC each time I upload. I'm out of first time PC's

Here is the link to someone who has embed'ed my presentation. The probem has to be external. With slideshare. Its been 3 days it's been showing up like this.

To say I'm frustrated is an understatment at this point.

i have the same problem with 2 of my presentations. they are updated on slideshare.net, but not the embeds. they are live on my homepage.. yikes! i can't create a new presentation bc others are already linking to it on twitter.

please help fix the refresh issue!

I can verify that this is a browser cache problem. Clearing the cache solves the problem.

In my case, no amount of cache flushing or browser or PC swapping fixed the problem. The problem was on Slideshare's end. Though I was just told "try it now" and it worked so I can't really say what the problem was. I just know that a rep from slideshre did something and it worked.
