grouping shows into collections
it would be great if slide share allowed you to organize slide shows into groups or collections a bit like the way you can sort photos in flickr, a lot on my presentations are based on themes and it would be great to be able to organise them.

If you want to share the grouping with other people, then groups/events are a great idea. Otherwise, just use tags. Go into Edit for each slideshow and then tag each based on the group you want to put them into.
Each tag becomes an informal group. For example, look at my presentations related to social design: http://www.slideshare.net/rashmi/tags...

Inappropriate?thanks amit - thats really helpful, i have been using the groups but haven't created an event yet.
Rashmi - that is fantastic - i see that the /tags/ url picks up any of the shows that i have favourited which is brilliant, it will make sharing collections with user groups very easy and i guess i can make more specific tags for my shows to make group them if i want.
Im a bit of a branding freak though and What i was really trying to do though was find a way to keep my work related shows separate from ones i may create related to pass times so if people like a show i did on say web 2.o and look at my profile they won't see a wierd mess of stuff on climbing and running mixed in with stuff on IT.
while i'm commenting big thanks to whoever added my presentaion to the home page yesterday.
