Inappropriate?Too easy! I found out that url/slide number does the trick. But maybe this could be added to FAQ - I didn't see it there?
I’m happy

Inappropriate?Yes, that's correct, the slide show url/slide number will take you directly to that slide.
For example, http://www.slideshare.net/AmitRanjan/... would take me to the second slide of the presentation.
jtneill, Thanks for the feedback on the FAQ, we'll be sure to add it in!

Inappropriate?I just tried this with http://www.slideshare.net/daveman692/... and it didn't work for me.
I’m sad

Inappropriate?Works fine. How about embedding a specific slide, or starting the embed with that slide?
I’m excited

Inappropriate?Michael, there isn't any way to do that at the moment, but it's a great idea to consider for later! :)

OK I'm fine with the linking by now ; ) -
Inappropriate?using url and page number seems to work, but it is not internal linking, it causes the whole page and the whole presentation to reaload all over again every time you use such a link, right?
So, if you have a presentations with multiple links between pages, basically, a button navigation system, then using url/pagenumber is very inefficient as it reloads the whole slideshare.com webpage intead of just linking to the appropriate slide in the flash.
besides, one would need to publish first and then include the hyperlinks (or action) in powerpoint pointing to a slideshare url, instead of pointing to an internal link in the presentation. So...is there any way to make the internal links to a specific slide number or "next /previous slide" work?.
when published, the object thayt has the hyperlink highlights properly on mouseover, but whenI click it it does not direct you to anywhere.
If slideshare does not suport thism do you know of a web 2.0 service that supports it?
I’m frustrated
